Supreme Court allows Zakir Naik to withdraw plea to consolidate multiple hate speech cases
The Supreme Court has permitted Zakir Naik to withdraw his plea to consolidate multiple hate speech cases and plans to approach High Courts to quash them. Naik, accused of spreading hatred and under NIA investigation, fled India in 2016 and currently resides in Malaysia.
