Centre aims to commence Rs 600-crore data centre in northeast by March 2025

NICSI, under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, is building a data centre in Guwahati, Assam, scheduled to start operations by March 2025. The government is investing over Rs 600 crores in the project. Initially planned for 200 racks, it will expand to 400 racks. It aims to serve northern and central regions of India.
