Irans navy said the Strait of Hormuz has entered a “new reality” and will not return to its previous status, signalling reduced influence of the US and its allies in the region. According to Iranian state media, the naval command highlighted plans for a new regional security framework led by Gulf countries, alongside increased deployments and monitoring to secure Iranian waters and energy flows.
