Your healthy alkaline water may not be safe: FSSAI finds black particles, unapproved substance in Gujara
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has seized over Rs 31 lakh worth of alkaline water from a Gujarat-based manufacturer due to serious food safety and labelling violations. Inspections revealed missing product names, ingredient declarations, visible black particles, and the non-permitted substance fulvic acid, leading to legal action.
