A Delhi court has declined a woman's request for interim maintenance despite her husband's monthly income exceeding Rs 1 lakh, observing that such relief is not an automatic consequence merely because one spouse earns more than the other. The court noted that the woman was educated, gainfully employed and earning over Rs 60,000 a month.
