A wanted man attempted to evade police detection with an unusual disguise - a bag over his head. Bodycam footage released by Hertfordshire Constabulary on Tuesday (30 June) shows officers making their way through a property in St Albans as they searched for a suspected shoplifter. Upon entering a bedroom, police removed a large, upturned shopping bag from the bed, revealing the suspect hidden underneath. “How are you mate?” the officer laughed at the bizarre sight. Sharing the footage, the force said: “We’ve seen some interesting attempts to avoid detection over the years. Putting a bag over your head can now be added to that list.”
