Revised job quota policy: Maharashtras Cabinet has approved a revised five per cent sports quota policy for government jobs. The new policy aims to encourage sportspersons and strengthen their social and economic security. The state government has also introduced measures to make sports certificate verification more transparent through a dedicated system. In addition, the Cabinet approved the PRAGATI healthcare project and a capital subsidy for Hyosung India. Several land allotment and lease proposals were also cleared by the state government.
