Visitors Flock to Rose Garden at Park in Osaka as Roses Reach Peak Bloom Due To Warmer Weather
People enjoy a visit to a rose garden at Nakanoshima Park in Osaka on Wednesday, the final day of the Golden Week holidays. The park boasts about 3,700 roses of about 310 varieties, such as Brilliant Pink Iceberg and Schwarze Madonna. Because of warmer than average weather this year, the roses reached their peak bloom about a week earlier than usual and are likely to remain so until mid-May. Amid the sweet scents of the flowers, many visitors took photos of themselves with the roses in red, pink, white and other colors.
