A Virginia councilman has earned viral fame on TikTok for his pledge to bring more sidewalks to his local community. Danville City Council member Dr Gary Miller posted a video on his social media page explaining the importance of sidewalks to public safety. "A street with a sidewalk is a safer street and a healthier neighborhood. That's why I made a promise in 2022 to bring sidewalks back to Danville, and I'm proud to say that it's finally happening," he said. "I just went [through] his page. He’s a cool dude. Cares about sidewalks, having plants for pollinators, community outreach. I would vote for you if I lived there. Hope you win," one user commented.
