US will start revoking passports for thousands of parents who owe child support
The revocation program begins Friday, and though for now it will remain focused on those who owe $100,000 or more, the plan will soon be expanded to include parents who more than $2,500 in unpaid child support – a figure that could affect many thousands of people.
