Mr Jenrick was shown footage from a Channel 4/Verbatim investigation in which an undercover reporter is introduced as a donor for “off-the-book” projects. When asked how many “off-the-book” schemes Reform was running, Jenrick replied “zero” before being corrected that the footage proves at least one existed. Mr Jenrick insisted the party has robust vetting and legal advice, while two aides have been suspended over the allegations. Reform leader Nigel Farage has warned he expects “many more investigations” in coming months as the fallout over a major donations scandal continues.
