Re-NEET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has welcomed government action to impose a temporary restriction on the Telegram platform in India ahead of the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21, 2026. The move, taken under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, aims to curb the misuse of the messaging platform by organised groups allegedly involved in spreading fake paper leak claims and defrauding aspirants.
