Rahul Gandhi to lead Opposition protest at Jantar Mantar, demands CEC's resignation
Rahul Gandhi announced the Opposition's plan to protest at Jantar Mantar after a lunch for MPs. The protest aims to challenge Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's legitimacy amid allegations of electoral irregularities. Approximately 300 MPs expressed a desire to meet Kumar, but were denied the opportunity to protest at his office. Enhanced security measures and prohibitory orders were imposed in New Delhi due to earlier protests.
