Isobe Shrine in Himi, Toyama Prefecture, is welcoming the peak viewing period for light purple silky wisterias, which are delighting visitors.
The flowering trees, which stretch up to a height of about 20 meters and cover an area of about 40 meters, grow over the road to the shrine like a tunnel, allowing visitors to walk through.
