Parliament Street violence: Delhi Police files 4 FIRs for rioting, stabbing and obstruction; 18 arrested
Following tumultuous protests outside Parliament Street, Delhi Police have filed numerous FIRs and taken 18 individuals into custody. Demonstrators allege misconduct against women journalists by police, leading Rahul Gandhi to call for the disclosure of pertinent CCTV footage. The escalating tensions are a reaction to protests targeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's electoral revisions. The police have escalated claims of misconduct to the Crime Branch for further inquiry.
