Palestinian journalist says Israeli prison was ‘real hell’
Palestinian journalist Ali al-Samoudi was released from Israeli prison after a year of imprisonment without charge and without a trial. He is one of 105 journalists who’ve been arrested by Israel — most without charge — since October 7, 2023. In an interview with CNN’s Jeremy Diamond, Samoudi — who has worked with CNN in the past — recounted the physical and psychological abuse he says he endured during his imprisonment.
