There were few places left to look in the sauna cubicle. I’d scanned every inch of whitewashed wall and scrutinised the knotted spirals of a well-worn birchwood bench. Anything to divert my gaze from mounds of flushed flesh laid out like a butcher’s tray of Cumberland sausages. Even worse would have been to make eye contact. This was not a time for small talk.
