The Mumbai mill workers' housing scheme is a rehabilitation programme for workers employed by 58 closed or sick textile mills in Greater Mumbai. It was introduced after the closure of several mills following the 1982 Great Bombay Textile Strike, with housing to be developed through the redevelopment of mill lands.
