MSCI decides against adding Adani Energy to global standard indexes in May review
MSCI has excluded Adani Energy Solutions from inclusion in its indexes during the May 2026 review after the stock was placed on an “Ineligible Alert Board” due to Indias ASM surveillance framework. MSCI said securities under the Short-Term or Long-Term Additional Surveillance Measure (ASM) will not be added to its Investable Market Indexes during periodic reviews.
