Manipur: BJP MLA Vungzagin Valte laid to rest
Manipur BJP MLA Vungzagin Valte, a prominent tribal leader, was finally laid to rest in Churachandpur district, 134 days after succumbing to injuries from ethnic violence. Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh attended the funeral, marking a significant visit to the district since the unrest began. Valte, a three-time legislator, had been receiving treatment in Delhi following a brutal attack in Imphal last year.
