For many students pursuing higher education away from home, accommodation costs can become a major financial burden, particularly for those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. To help ease this expense, the Madhya Pradesh government offers the Housing Assistance Scheme, which provides financial support to eligible Scheduled Tribe (ST) students studying outside their hometown where government hostel facilities are unavailable.
