L.A. pair try to scam senior twice, but their timing is horrible
Shaohua Sun of Monterey Park and Yanwen Gu of Rosemead pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit elder abuse. They deceived a Ventura man into giving them $25,000 and were arrested after trying to take $50,000 more, authorities say.
