Jobless DACA recipient selling burritos while waiting for approval
Cesar has been waiting for his DACA work permit renewal to be processed since December of last year. He is one of many whose lives have been upended by unprecedented delays in US immigration processing. Since then the college grad and human resources representative has lost his job and started selling burritos on a corner in Los Angeles. Cesar spoke to CNN on the condition only his first name would be used out of fear of jeopardizing his renewal.
