You need to know about cool Berlin beauty brand Kess. You won’t find anything full-coverage or super-pigmented; instead, lightweight, glowy balms, creams, and colour-correcting complexion products.  They’re multifunctional and refillable, too, designed to see you through your commute and evening plans without taking up space in your handbag or requiring a million different steps. Its bronzers, blushers, highlighters, and brushes are designed in a modular format that can be mixed and matched into a dual-ended stick. Since I first discovered them a few weeks ago, I’ve been using almost nothing else – it’s that good, and the exact type of efficient, multi-purpose makeup I want that leaves my skin looking healthy and radiant, without any faff.  This is what I’d recommend from Kess Blush & Glow Duo StickThis clever dual-ended stick can be mixed and matched with Kess’ four shades of bronzer, eight shades of blush, two highlighters, and a brush. They easily click into place with no faff and can then be used as twist-up sticks. I love the bright red-toned blush, Flirt, which has a satin matte finish, combined with the Champagne highlighter, which has a luminescent payoff to add a healthy glow. The initial slight tackiness means it conceals and stays put without sliding off throughout the day or fading to reveal a cluster of spots, which I love. The packaging is a chrome twist-up stick, and you only need the tiniest amount and just your finger to blend. If you’re breakout-prone like me, this is a hard-working concealer worth the splurge.Buy Now FOR £25 Jelly Treat Lip OilTinted lip oils are my go-to lip product, and this one is better than most. It has a wide, plush doe-foot applicator and a sheer colour payoff, so you don’t even need a mirror to apply. It has the same high-shine finish of a gloss but is smooth, hydrating and doesn’t cling to dry patches. There’s no stickiness in sight. I love the shade Jam, which is closest to my natural lip colour, but it’s also available in clear and three other vibrant hues of red, brown and pink. Buy Now for £20 CC Cream SPF 30This is one of those multifunctional base products that tick a lot of boxes; hydration, colour correction and the added bonus of SPF30 (it’s still essential to wear a separate sunscreen first, however). The shade range spans from very light to deep skin tones, and is formulated with colour pigments that gently adapt to your skin tone as you blend it in. It doesn’t provide loads of coverage, but it evens skin tone so it looks radiant and fresh, without the cakiness or the tendency to sink into fine lines. I like to rub it in with my fingers and find it never oxidises to an overly orange shade or clings to drier areas of skin on my cheeks and around my nose. It’s one of those perfect one-and-done base makeup products that you keep coming back to for their ease and blendability.Buy Now for £33 Lengthening Day MascaraThis is exactly what you need from a mascara, particularly if you prefer the look of a lash lift but don’t want the upkeep. It coats lashes easily and leaves them fluffy, lengthened and defined – there’s no unwanted clumping or smudging, and it even held up in the heatwave without leaving me looking like a panda.
