Best known for the popular track 'Dil Le Gayee', singer Jasbir Jassi has extended his support to Diljit Dosanjh and the makers of ‘Satluj’, lauding the film for its depiction of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra's life. Sharing a video of himself speaking in Punjabi, Jasbir said that bringing Khalra's story to the screen took immense courage, adding that "sometimes people are afraid of the truth," and urged people to stand by truth and humanity.
