Interior Department says Reflecting Pool is ‘crystal clear’
After turning from dark “American Flag Blue” to murky neon green, newly renovated Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is now back to what the US Interior Department calls “crystal clear” blue, after crews vacuumed algae, dumped in hydrogen peroxide and deployed what officials describe as state-of-the-art ozone nanobubbler technology.
