Infra projects see cost overrun of Rs 5.65 lakh crore in April
Central sector infrastructure projects exceeding Rs 150 crore each show a cumulative cost overrun of Rs 5.65 lakh crore. As of April, 1,981 projects are monitored with a revised cost of Rs 42.78 lakh crore. Expenditure stands at Rs 20.36 lakh crore, indicating steady implementation. Transport and logistics lead with the highest number of projects and revised costs.
