Iceland Poppies Reach Viewing Prime in Saitama Pref. Park; Shinrin Park Boasts 700,000 Siberia-Native Flowers

People walk among Iceland poppies in Shinrin Park in Namegawa, Saitama Prefecture. The flowers in orange, yellow, white and other hues have reached their peak for viewing at the park, which is also known as Musashi-Kyuryo National Government Park, and will remain so through early May. The park boasts about 700,000 Iceland poppy plants, which are indigenous to Siberia among other places, in an area of about 8,000 square meters.
