From performing in village fairs and surviving on a monthly salary of just ₹6,000 in Bengaluru to winning ₹50 lakh on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 and landing his first lead role in films, Gilli Nata's journey has been anything but ordinary. The actor, who will soon be seen as the lead in Palaar, says his story is rooted in a simple aspiration shared by many Kannadigas: "Naaku jana nammanna gurtiso haag agbeku" ("I want people to remember and recognise me").
