HAL, Tata, L&T among 10 firms in race for Rs 30,000 crore defence drone deal
Around ten Indian companies have submitted bids for a major defence project. The Defence Ministry is acquiring 87 Medium-Altitude Long-Range, Endurance unmanned aerial vehicles. This over Rs 30,000 crore deal aims to boost indigenous drone manufacturing. The drones will feature advanced surveillance and strike capabilities. Integration with Indian missile systems is also planned.
