Govt appoints Lt Gen N S Raja Subramani as next Chief of Defence Staff
Lieutenant General N S Raja Subramani (Retd.) has been appointed as the next Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), effective from his assumption of charge. He will also serve as Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Military Affairs. Lt Gen Raja Subramani previously held the position of Military Adviser at the National Security Council Secretariat.
