Google to invest up to $40bn in artificial intelligence firm Anthropic
The initial investment, for $10bn, arrives just days after Amazon announced plans to boost its collaboration with Anthropic via a $5bn investment. Earlier this month, Anthropic announced it had tripled its annualized revenues, outpacing OpenAI for the first time.
