French teenager loses hand picking up police grenade in high school protests
The 15-year-old high school student was reportedly injured after picking up a sting-ball grenade fired by riot police in the northern city of Lens on Monday. The incident comes as the government faces criticism for its response to a sometimes violent student movement over classroom conditions that is now entering its third week.
