The defeat leaves Coventry bottom of the Premier League after three consecutive losses. But Lampard, whose side were beaten 3-0 in the Premier League opener against Arsenal, is buoyed by how his Coventry players posed a significant threat to City. ‘We’re not playing Manchester City every week,’ Lampard said. ‘The Premier League is a high, high level and we’ll play different versions of quality against us.
