Donor surprises graduates with gift to cover final year loans
During a graduation ceremony at North Carolina State University, donor Anil Kochhar announced that he and his wife, Marilyn, would be covering all student loans taken out by Wilson College of Textiles graduates during the 2025-2026 school year. This was done in honor of Kochhar’s father, Prakash Chand Kochhar, who attended NC State 80 years ago to further his textiles education.
