CBSE 3-language rule for Class 9 from July 2026: No board exam for third language — here’s what students can choose
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made the study of three languages compulsory for students from Class IX starting July 1. The board has also clarified that there will be no Board examination for the third language (R3) in Class X.
