CNN’s Manu Raju spoke with Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who distanced himself from those in his party who identify as democratic socialists. The Michigan Democrat was also asked about a recent CNN KFile report that unearthed comments he made in 2020 in support of defunding the police.
