A security guard at Barstool Sports’ New York City headquarters got into a brawl with an Uber Eats delivery driver. Company president Dave Portnoy posted cell phone and surveillance video of the fight on X, saying the driver attacked Dan, the Barstool security guard, after a dispute over an order. He also sarcastically thanked mayor Zohran Mamdani in his tweet. The NYPD confirmed they arrested a 31-year-old man at a Manhattan office at 2pm on Monday (August 25) and Uber said the driver had been removed from their app. Some social media users have suggested Portnoy’s own surveillance footage shows the Barstool employee lunge at the driver as he backs into an elevator.
