WTO to set up dispute panel in China's case against India's solar, IT goods measures
China has successfully established a World Trade Organization panel to challenge India's solar cell, module, and IT goods policies. Beijing alleges these measures, including tariffs and incentives, unfairly target Chinese products. India had previously blocked the request, but the WTO body accepted China's second attempt. The panel will now scrutinize India's trade commitments regarding these imported high-tech and solar energy items.
