Zomato initiative saving nearly 150K cancelled meals

Zomato’s Food Rescue initiative, launched in November 2024 to reduce food wastage, has already saved 75% of eligible orders, amounting to 150,000 meals per month. Customers can purchase cancelled orders at discounted prices within a 3km radius and receive them in minutes. Delivery partners and restaurant partners are also fully compensated.
