The Rameshwaram Cafe has filed a police complaint alleging an extortion attempt involving a staged food contamination video at its Bengaluru airport outlet. A group claimed an insect was found in the food, then demanded ₹25 lakh to suppress the video. The cafe strongly denied the allegation and submitted evidence to the police. Founder Divya Raghav insists the brand follows strict hygiene protocols and vows legal action against those behind the alleged setup.
