World's first high-altitude para sports centre to come up in Leh; focus on 2028 Paralympics

Ladakh will soon be home to the world's first high-altitude para sports centre. The centre is a collaboration between LAHDC and AMF. It will train Indian para-athletes for the 2028 Paralympics. The centre will offer training in a variety of sports. These include archery, athletics and badminton. Winter para sports will also be a key focus.
