Wildfire in Southern California: Fast-growing wildfires have destroyed homes in the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles, prompting residents to flee on foot. As many as three massive wildfires broke out in Southern California almost at the same time. Around 30,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate the area near the fire, which has grown to more than 1,200 acres, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
