Wheelchair user evades police blue light chase in Sheffield

A wheelchair user led police on a blue light chase on a major road in Sheffield, footage posted on social media on Sunday, 26 January shows. Video showed the vehicle following the wheelchair along the busy road with the Meadowhall shopping centre visible in the background. The vehicle was displaying its blue lights and its sirens were blaring. It was not immediately clear why police were pursuing the wheelchair user. The Independent has approached South Yorkshire Police for comment.
