What is Presidents Day and why is it celebrated in US? Explained in 10 points

Presidents Day in US: In the US, Presidents Day is celebrated annually on every third Monday of February. This is a holiday that honors everyone who has serviced in the office of the president of the USA. This holiday dates back to the 1880s and it used to always be held on February 22, which was George Washington's birthday. But, in 1968, Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Bill, which moved a number of federal holidays to Mondays and now it is held on the third Monday of every February.
