West Bengal polls: Congress releases first list of names; Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury to contest from Baharampu

The Congress party has announced its first list of 284 candidates for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. The party will contest all 294 seats independently. Prominent leaders attended the Central Election Committee meeting to finalize the selections. The elections are scheduled to be held in two phases on April 23 and April 29.
