Eyewitness footage showed a drone being intercepted near the US Embassy in Baghdad during an attack on Tuesday (17 March). The video's location has been verified by Reuters, who confirmed the building's shape, road layout, streetlights, and vegetation. The exact time of the video could not be confirmed, but this is the earliest version of the footage posted online. Rockets and at least five drones were launched at the US Embassy, Iraqi security sources said as they described the attack as the most intense since the start of the US-Israel war with Iran. The C-RAM air defence system shot down at least two drones while a third struck inside the embassy compound, a Reuters witness said.
