​Warriors take 1–0 lead as Curry powers past Rockets in playoff return

Stephen Curry's 31 points propelled the Golden State Warriors to a 95-85 victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of their Western Conference first-round series. Golden State's strong second quarter and efficient shooting proved too much for Houston, despite Alperen Şengün's 26 points and the Rockets' rebounding advantage. The Warriors now lead the series 1-0.
