Wangchuk begins fast over Ladakh's statehood

In Leh, the Apex Body organised a peaceful protest. Sonam Wangchuk began a 35-day fast. He demands statehood for Ladakh. He also wants Ladakh included in the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution. Representatives of all religions participated in a prayer service. Wangchuk hopes the government will respond. He wants a result-oriented dialogue process with Ladakh representatives.
