Voting begins for bypolls to four Bihar assembly seats

Bihar witnessed by-elections in four assembly constituencies. Over 1.2 million voters participated in the electoral process. The Election Commission oversaw voting across 1,277 booths. The by-elections were necessitated by previous MLA wins in the Lok Sabha elections. The ruling NDA and opposition INDIA bloc are in a close contest. Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj added another layer of competition.
